For a woman, nothing matters more than looking irresistible! A feeling of lightness, a sparkle in the eyes, smooth skin – that is what makes everyday life unforgettable.
IPL laser hair removal is a modern, painless method of getting rid of unwanted hair in any area. Broadband intense pulsed light heats the follicles and destroys them. After 2–3 days the hair follicle comes to the surface, the skin becomes smooth for good and the hair does not grow back. IPL hair removal is done in 2 to 5 sessions at intervals of 4–7 weeks. The result is permanent removal of growing hairs and dormant follicles.

Laser hair removal can be done all year round. However, on large exposed areas (arms, legs, and back and chest in men) it is better to remove hair in the colder months (late autumn, winter and early spring).
Benefits of IPL hair removal:
- Effective. IPL is the solution for removing unwanted light or grey hair. The less melanin pigment a hair contains, the harder it is for a classic laser to pick it up. Thanks to its improved way of working and generating pulses, IPL is not as selective and removes all hair;
- Suitable for men and women. Permanent hair removal with IPL works for people of any age and gender;
- Versatile. It removes hair on the face, arms and legs as well as in intimate areas (including the high bikini line and genitals), underarms and on the stomach;
- Painless. The treatment causes none of the discomfort of sugaring or other mechanical hair removal methods. That is why it is suitable for sensitive areas (upper lip, bikini, underarms);
- No complications. After the treatment there are no ingrown hairs, inflammation, irritation or bruising;
- Quick. A session takes 15 minutes at most.
Who IPL hair removal is not suitable for
Laser hair removal is not performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding or hormonal disorders. Until the endocrine system is back in balance, the specialist cannot guarantee that the treatment will be effective and the follicles removed for good.
IPL hair removal is strictly not allowed for people:
- under 18
- with diabetes
- with epilepsy
Laser removal of light hair is not performed if there are wounds, injuries or irritation on the skin in the treated area.
How the treatment works
Laser hair removal needs no long preparation. For the best results the hair should be 1–2 mm long. If it is longer, specialists recommend shaving the area 5–6 hours before the treatment.
The specialist disinfects the area, applies a cooling gel and aims the laser head. The flashes then destroy the follicles. After the treatment the cooling gel is wiped off and Panthenol or Bepanthen spray is left on the skin for 5 minutes.
How long the result lasts
The skin stays smooth for 5–6 years. Specialists recommend 1–2 maintenance sessions 4 years after the treatment.
Hair removal is affordable. Considering that the result is long-lasting, the cost of the treatment is lower than several years of sugaring – the savings are obvious.
Skin care after IPL hair removal
During the skin’s recovery period the same recommendations apply as after any laser hair removal:
- For the first 3 days after the treatment avoid hot baths, the sauna and sport – anything that makes you sweat heavily.
- Do not sunbathe outdoors or in a solarium for 14 days.
- Apply sunscreen to the treated areas.
If you follow the specialists’ recommendations after IPL, the treatment guarantees permanent hair removal in any area.
