How is Brazilian waxing performed?

We achieve the result using two methods: Brazilian sugaring and Brazilian waxing. Your preparation before the treatment is the same for both methods.

Brazilian waxing

We use warm wax, which we apply to the required bikini area. Using strips, we pull the wax off against the direction of hair growth. The hairs are pulled out including the roots.

Brazilian sugaring

We use natural hypoallergenic sugar paste warmed to a pleasant temperature. With this method, the whole hair is pulled out in the direction of its growth. Sugaring is therefore a bit gentler and less painful.

Waxing removes the whole hair including the root, so you get rid of hair for much longer than with shaving. The effect of waxing usually lasts two to eight weeks, which is much longer than with depilation creams. Sugar wax depilation (sugaring)

Sugaring came to us from the Muslim world, and its roots go back to ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Sugar paste is 100% ecological. It is made mostly of sugar and lemon juice, so it is completely water-soluble. It is first heated almost to boiling point and then cooled down to body temperature. Then it is massaged into the hair and a strip of fabric is pressed onto it. Once it has set, we remove the strip of sugar paste with a quick pull.

Benefits of sugaring compared to shaving, waxing or an epilator

• Sugar is a natural preservative and its high content works antibacterially, so no bacteria get into the skin and the skin does not get inflamed. Irritation and red dots disappear within an hour of application, and there is no red skin as is common with shaving.
• With long-term use you will find that the regrowing hair is much finer, and with regular care its amount decreases.
• Regular application of sugar paste not only reliably and gently removes hair, but also dead cells from the skin surface.
• Thanks to its gentleness, sugar paste is ideal for intimate areas, the groin and armpits.
• Compared to classical waxing, sugar also pulls the hair in the earliest stage of growth (the anagen stage). When removed at this stage, the regrowth is much slower and finer.
• Depilation is possible even with very short hair of 1–2 mm.
• Sugar paste is applied at body temperature, so there is no risk of burns.
• The effect of sugaring lasts 3–5 weeks.
