Gel nail extensions are a very widespread fashion trend today. Clients of any age can have their nails done. They are chosen by women with problem nails (long-term bitten, brittle, splitting, etc.) as well as by women who simply want longer nails than their natural ones allow. Nails are every woman’s calling card, and thanks to gel or acrylic extensions they will look perfect.
Gel nails look natural, stay glossy and save you a lot of time on caring for your hands. Gel nails can be applied to any size and shape of nail, so you need not worry about any problem with the application. With a normal nail bed length, you only need a gel infill once a month.
Caring for your nails will therefore take on average only an hour and a half a month, compared with the daily care of natural nails.
Gel overlays are ideal for protecting your natural nails and helping them grow to the length you want. Clear gel is applied directly onto the natural nails and cured under a UV lamp – the nails are strong, flexible and glossy. Gel overlays suit nails that flake, split or break, as they strengthen and protect the natural nail underneath.
Clear gel looks natural; a colour polish or French manicure can be applied on top. Gel overlays do not extend the length of your nails – if you want longer nails, choose nail extensions.
Tips are ready-made plastic tips of the future nails, attached to the nail with a special glue so that they cover no more than half of the nail plate. They are usually not used on their own – they are built up with acrylic or gel on top.
Forms are underlays with a small window for the nail plate. Sculpting gel is applied to the form and the natural nail; once cured, it forms the artificial free edge of the nail.

We put emphasis on the quality of the materials we use, precisely because clients who prefer cheap nail extensions gamble not only with the condition of their nails, but also with their own health. Cheap materials (especially acrylic) often lack the necessary health safety certification and their composition is in most cases alarming. If you care about having beautiful and healthy nails, nail extensions are definitely not the place to save money.
First the nail surface is mattified with a fine soft buffing block, which degreases the nail and removes impurities.
The nail plate is disinfected and the first layer of gel is applied with a brush and cured in a UV lamp for 2 minutes.
The gel is shaped into a “C” curve so the nail looks completely natural from all angles. After curing, the gel is filed into a precise, neat shape.
A gel gloss is applied on top and cured in a UV lamp for 3 minutes.
